Germany trips - 20071106 - pig shoulder

surprisingly... i haven't been able to find pig knuckles in germany so far... instead a colleague recommends me to try pig shoulder... it tastes good... but the skin is not as crispy as pig knuckles... will try my luck when i go to munich...

The restaurant is called zum Roten Orhsen, which means Red Ox. It's on the pedestrian road of Herzo, a well-known local restaurant serving regional Bavarian dishes... I was recommended to it by at least 2 germans.

From the interior, you can see the wall of big stones... i was told that those are real stones, not the decoration or wall paper as in HK... and they should be over hundreds of years old...
