A newly added watch on my original one dream watch list.... Here is the spec of this new-found babe:

- Created in Cartier's Paris workshops, the Ronde Louis Cartier watch is a classic with clean lines and a timeless shape

- The shape of this watch, round, pure and extremely simple contrasts with other watches in the Collection Privee Cartier Paris. Note the work on the dial and in particular the afternoon and evening Roman and Arabic numerals

- Large model, 950 platinum, 18K white gold circular-grained crown set with a sapphire cabochon, guilloche silvered dial, central rose motif, Cartier Paris signature, apple-shaped blued steel hands, hand-sewn full grain alligator strap, 18K white gold adjustable deployant buckle, transparent back with sapphire crystal water-resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet

- Workshop-crafted mechanical movement with manual winding, calibre 437 MC, diameter: 9" / 20.5 mm; thickness: 2.1 mm; 18 rubies, balance: 21,600 alternations / hour, bridges decorated with the Cartier interlocking double-C motif. The tansparent back reveals the 437 MC movement. The blue index-assembly in the C de Cartier shape gives the movement its signature, as do the bridges decorated with the interwined double C cipher de Cartier
